Cocomelon

CocoMelon functions as an internet-based channel and streaming service devoted to 3-D animated programming created expressly for preschool viewers. The venture began under the Checkgate label from 2006 to 2013 and then continued as ABC Kid TV until 2018, when it adopted its current name. Filmmaker Jay Jeon launched the company with his wife in 2005, and by the rebranding year it already stood among the leading children’s channels with more than 100 million subscribers. Its videos present classic nursery rhymes together with original songs in animated form. The catalog further includes well-received albums such as Lullabies for Bedtime released in 2020 and both Nursery Rhymes and Halloween Adventure issued in 2021.

Late 2023 brought the debut of the television spin-off CoComelon Lane. A pair of soundtrack albums supported the series, the first volume appearing that same year and the second arriving in 2024.
