Biography
Guitarist Peter Scott channels Cold Arizona, merging intense alternative rock with brooding, immersive sonic textures. The project originated in 2016 when Scott captured its debut collection in Los Angeles, supported by veteran session musicians that included drummer Joey Waronker (R.E.M., Beck), bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck, Nine Inch Nails), and keyboardist Zac Rae (Death Cab For Cutie). Working initially without a vocalist, he connected with Atlanta-based singer and lyricist Jennifer Zuiff, who soon joined as his creative partner. Cold Arizona issued its lush debut single, "Open Highway Head Start," in 2017, which built substantial streams before the year concluded.
