Biography
San Diego, CA-based Comfortable for You unites vocalist/guitarist Steve Peart, guitarist Ryan Deneen, bassist Brad Lee, and drummer Tom Peart to shape an intellectual and eclectic hardcore sound rooted in the example of progressive-minded acts such as Fugazi, Refused, and hometown heroes Drive Like Jehu. The band surfaced around 2002 and promptly began performing at local clubs while laying down demos, after which they issued a split 7" with Goodbye Blue Monday, appeared on the San Diego Is Burning compilation, and delivered their Prizefight debut on Loud + Clear Records in summer 2004.
