Biography
The progressive jazz ensemble Common Ground unites the electric violin work of Zach Brock and Tom Wright. A Kentucky native now based in Chicago, Brock appears with numerous groups throughout the city. Wright serves as a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Drawing on the rhythm section of pianist Jordan Baskin, bassist Mike Arnopol, and drummer Tom Hipskind, the group issued its debut album, High Voltage, via Delmark in 2005.
