Biography
Centered around vocalist and songwriter Adam Busch alongside guitarist and songwriter Eric Kufs, Common Rotation formed as an energetic indie rock ensemble based in Long Island, New York. Busch, whose first major acting role arrived as Warren in the fifth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, launched the group with his former schoolmate Kufs at the start of 1999. The pair issued their self-released debut 28 Orange Street before the year closed and spent the next two years on the road promoting it. Touring engagements with They Might Be Giants and sold-out appearances in London, Glasgow, and Belfast helped the ensemble attract attention. Their second album The Big Fear arrived in June 2003, followed two years later by the Clear Channel EP. In 2006 the band put out the full-length Isalie, and their sixth album God Keeps an Open Gallery was scheduled for release in 2011.
