Biography
Connie O'Connell, an Irish musician, honors traditional Irish elements through his folk song performances, in a manner similar to fellow flutists Jimmy Doyle and Seamus MacMathuna. In addition to instructing at the University College Cork, O'Connell maintains an independent recording career. Early in 2000, he released his first Shanachie album, titled Ceol Cill Na Martra.
