Consequences

Formed in Sweden, the epic indie rock outfit Consequences centers on drummer Richard Ankers, bassist Mattias Areskog, vocalist and guitarist Jonas Heijkenskjöld, keyboardist Åsa Jacobsson, and guitarist Daniel Jansson. Areskog sparked the ensemble after penning an extensive catalog of material and receiving encouragement from peers to assemble a group. Before uniting here, the musicians had toured and recorded with an array of Swedish artists such as Marit Bergman, Frida Hyvönen, Melody Club, Anna Ternheim, Peter Bjorn and John, and Mattias Hellberg. The band issued its debut self-titled album in November 2006 through Bow/Groover, with production handled by Ronald Bood, whose credits include Mando Diao and Shout Out Louds.
