Biography
Following the 1995 breakup of Descontrol Sanitario, Argentinean hardcore/punk foursome Contragolpe came into existence. Singer/guitarist Nicolás Gaspoz, bassist Iván Gedzius, and drummer Emiliano Gaspoz laid down the six-track demo Mi Nación in January 1996. Contragolpe later supplied “Otra Noche Como Hoy” and “Mis Páginas Anteriores” for the Sociedad Under compilation. The band’s EP Parte De Un Destino appeared in March 1999. Guitarist Marcelo García joined the lineup that same year.
