Biography
Cormac McCarthy, a singer and songwriter, spent his early years in Lempster, a modest milling community in New Hampshire whose bleak and dispiriting atmosphere appears to have shaped both the melancholy of his songwriting and his working-class pride. Following university studies in English and a stretch living in California, he came back to New England, where he began building a reputation as a performer along the Massachusetts and New Hampshire shoreline. The artist’s debut release, Troubled Sleep, distills nearly fourteen years of accumulated vocal work and musical growth.
