The Spanish pop/rock quartet Cosecha Roja originated when ex-Ultima Fila bassist Antonio Rodríguez teamed up with guitarist Javier Doforno, who were later completed by the arrival of singer/guitarist Carlos Rego and drummer Aser Alvarez. In 1989 the group laid down its earliest demo, then released a first single in 1992 that paired the songs "Se Acabó" and "No Puede Ser." The following year saw the appearance of their debut album, Nuevos Caminos.
