Biography
Genovese rapper Cromo launched his production career in 2013 alongside Italian rap peer Kalt. Two years on, he aligned with regional imprint Studio Ostile to issue his first mixtape, OK-47. At that juncture he also embraced freestyle performance, taking stages across Italy and entering assorted competitions. Beyond his work with Kalt, he contributed to Young Slash’s “Diglielo” and drew YouTube attention through his own cut “White Widow.” Demo-handled follow-up “Cromito Loco” surpassed that reach, logging more than a million streams on the platform by spring 2017. Months afterward Cromo resurfaced with “Tonico.”
