Biography
Emerging from Portland, Oregon, the Crack City Rockers delivered their debut record with force during the winter of 2001. As excitement peaked around the retro-rock movement centered in New York City, the group trusted their songs enough to add themselves to the expanding roster of acts driving the trend forward. Joyce Hotel appeared on the Paisley Pop imprint and drew favorable notices from critics. Vocalist and guitarist Eric S. Gregory, bassist Sean Flora, guitarist Dennis Mitchell, and drummer Curt Schulz formed the core lineup, with saxophonist John Leubner joining before the band tracked its 2003 EP New Myths.
