Biography
In 1985 the German hard rock outfit Crack Jaw issued its lone LP via the regional Steamhammer Records imprint, yet the release never served as a springboard to mainstream acclaim. The caliber of musicianship and songcraft from Stephen Kiergerl on vocals, Holger Eckstein and Jurgen Schulz on guitar, Gerriot Eisenmenger on bass, and Markus Klinke on drums across Night Out made that outcome especially unfortunate. Beyond Germany and neighboring central European markets, the band’s sharply executed melodic hooks failed to drive meaningful sales, prompting Crack Jaw to disband the following year.
