Biography
Despite tackling themes of romance, welfare dependency, and routine hardships tied to their upbringing in Liverpool, England, Crocodile God delivered three-chord pop-punk melodies laced with memorable vocal harmonies. Their early output consisted of the 1995 debut EP Two Days and the album Old John Mac, after which Crackle Records signed the band and issued a run of singles across the following two years: "Boss" in 1996, "Mind the Cat" in 1997, and "Ladders" in 1997. The same mix of buoyant pop and weightier lyrics marked their first mini-album, Stella, which appeared in 1999.
