Biography
The lineup of Crusader, German heavy metal purists featuring vocalist David Walgrave, guitarists Filip Lasseel and Joost Vlasschaert, bassist Mark Theunssens, and drummer Jan Moerman, spent years performing covers before turning to original compositions and issuing their debut album, the Manowar-inspired This Mortal Flesh, in 2000. Since then the band has stayed largely out of view, although reports have surfaced that Dries Deturck has joined as the new drummer.
