Biography
Cyrnai serves as the solo outlet for Carolyn Fok, the California-based multimedia artist and musician honored with multiple awards. Fok shapes layered electronic compositions through varied analog and digital gear, yielding sounds that merge bold experimentation with an intimate core. The initial commercial effort under this name arrived as the 1985 12" EP Charred Blossoms, a set of shadowy, echo-laden post-punk and industrial pieces tracked inside her parents’ residence.
