Biography
Formed in Lafayette, Louisiana, the trio Da Entourage unites cousins Toemas and Alley Cat with their longtime friend Bunny B. Immersed in the regional sound of the Dirty South, they issued their first project, Entourage, Vol. 1, on the local imprint Red Boy Records without major backing in 2001. Strong underground club sales paved the way for Entourage, Vol. 2, which earned broader recognition the following year and introduced the popular track “Bunny Hop.” Universal Music then signed the act in 2003, securing national distribution and a reissue of that second volume.
