Biography
Emerging victorious from BET’s 2012 talent series 106 & Park All-Star MVP Wild-Out Wednesdays, Da Pretty Boyz started out as a teen boy band before developing rapidly into a genuine R&B outfit. The Jacksonville, Florida-based group—brothers Mack Baker and Marcyy Marc together with cousin Pretty Eyez—began releasing music via their 2011 mixtape Flash Drive. A follow-up project arrived in 2012 with the mixtape 3 Royal Children, at which point they also joined the 106 & Park television series' Wild-Out Wednesdays competition, reached the final MVP stage, and captured the win. An opening slot on B.o.B's tour followed, after which the trio unveiled the decidedly adult single "Butt Naked Nasty" in 2014. That same grown-up R&B direction persisted with their 2016 hit single "Netflix and Chill."
