Biography
Marco Barrano and Dario Sanguedolce, two Sicilian retro-futurists hailing from Caltagirone, launched their Daiquiri Fantomas project after first joining forces there in 2010. Their whimsically atmospheric electronic pop incorporates prog rock, sci-fi soundtracks, and Mediterranean influences, with classically trained keyboardist Sanguedolce and multi-instrumentalist-engineer Barrano shaping the sound. The pair secured a deal with London-based Blow-Up Records, which issued their debut album MHz Invasion in late 2013.
