Dalton

Nate Harar, recording as Dalton, produces emotionally forthright indie rock marked by understated variety, raw textures, and blurred sonics. Born in Washington, D.C., he later settled in Brooklyn, where he performed across New York City venues with the group Sugar It's Eli. Following that band's dissolution in the early 2010s, Harar launched the Dalton project to document his home-recorded material, shaped by the styles of the Replacements and Dinosaur Jr. Dalton's self-titled EP appeared in 2012 and drew notice from multiple music blogs. Harar then moved to Los Angeles, where he kept developing material intended for a first album. In Stereo Records issued the Dalton single "Only Names" late in 2014, and Fierce Panda Records put out the self-titled full-length debut in early 2015.
