Damiano David

Renowned for his commanding vocals, striking aesthetic, and commanding performances, Damiano David stands out as Italy's prominent pop figure and style influencer, primarily recognized in his role leading the extravagant alternative rock group Måneskin. This quartet from Rome fuses elements of dance-punk rhythms, glamorous attire, and the bold attitude reminiscent of early-2000s indie rock, achieving widespread recognition by placing second in the 2017 edition of The X Factor, achieving a top chart position via their 2018 track "Il ballo della vita," and securing victory at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 thanks to the popular single "Zitti e buoni." After the band issued its third album Rush! in 2023, which achieved platinum status, David ventured into solo endeavors, revealing intimate aspects of his artistry through the introspective piano-driven piece titled "Silverline."
