Biography
Florida-based singer/songwriter Damion Suomi (pronounced "sue-me") produces refined laments steeped in alcohol alongside vigorous mid-paced rock tracks, drawing one influence from the gritty sphere of alternative country and another from longstanding Irish musical customs. Before launching a solo career, he devoted multiple years to assorted local groups in Cocoa Beach, the town where he originated. Early in 2009 his self-titled debut album—an assortment of songs “birthed from pubs, drinks, and relationships”—appeared on the P Is for Panda label.
