Biography
Dana Fields, a gospel vocalist blending contemporary sounds with R&B smoothness and jazz nuances, issued her first full-length project, Nothing's Impossible, during 2008 yet achieved her clearest artistic footing with the 2016 album A Personal Experience. Raised in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania by two pastor parents, she immersed herself in both music and church life from childhood onward. In adulthood she served as a worship leader while sustaining her vocal pursuits, then stepped into theatrical performance via the 2006 staging of Regina Taylor’s Crowns. That production completed a two-season run, after which Fields delivered Nothing’s Impossible in 2008. Ministry obligations and stage work occupied her through the following decade until she resurfaced in the studio during 2015 with the single “Yes to Your Love,” the opening track from her sophomore set A Personal Experience, issued in 2016. The album debuted at number 21 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.
