Biography
From San Francisco, Dani Linnetz stands out due to her powerfully soulful vocals and songwriting marked by wisdom beyond her years. In addition, she has exhibited strong discernment regarding both the material she chooses to record and her choice of musical partners. The release of her debut EP, Paperdoll, came in 1999, after she had spent a brief sojourn in New York City, and it was followed in 2001 by the uniformly excellent Five and Dime. Linnetz also belongs to DivaBands, a touring collective of independent female artists, during times when she is not engaged in recording or touring.
