Biography
Chicago DJ Daniel Givens launched his career onstage in 1993, sharing bills with Tricky, Tortoise, Femi Kuti, and Gil Scott-Heron. His productions merge jazz, soul, worldbeat, and dub into expansive sonic spaces that recall the exploratory visions of Sun Ra and Carl Craig. The debut album Age arrived in 2000 via Aesthetics Records.
