Biography
Daniel René entered the modeling world at nine years old through his work with Tommy Hilfiger. Five years after that, he became part of MDO and made his first stage appearance during a concert in Lima, Peru. The young performer soon pursued independence by inking a deal with Crescent Moon Records under Emilio Estefan and collaborating with writers including Diane Warren, Jon Secada, and Steve Morales. In January 2001, Sony Music put out his self-titled debut album, which first gained chart traction via the track "I Take It Back."
