Biography
Originally from Perth, Australia, Daphne Khoo relocated to Singapore at the age of eight before achieving recognition as third runner-up on the debut season of Singapore Idol in 2004. That placement opened pathways to assorted television work and other media exposure, among them an appearance in the 2005 drama series Shooting Star. Her first album, Desperate, arrived in 2007 and spotlighted the single "Doll" as its lead track.
