Biography
"Blue" Gene Tyranny received a Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, where his composition studies were guided by Austin, Erickson, Gaburo, and Stockhausen. He later served on the faculties of Oberlin and the Sonavera Studio for Sonic Arts, and he makes his home in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
