Biography
Dave Aaronoff, who handled guitar and vocal duties, devoted multiple years to club dates across Boston as a member of the Shods while also supplying occasional keyboard support behind the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, before stepping forward with a solo project in 1998. Joined by his backing unit the Details, he aimed to produce a sound he characterized as “sexy” and further shaped by power pop influences drawn from Supergrass, the Jam, and Hüsker Dü. With assistance from Lunch Records, Aaronoff documented that approach on his first full-length album, the 2000 release Your First Time With the Details.
