Biography
Dave Ball, a British synthesizer player, joined Marc Almond in October 1979 as one half of Soft Cell. The pair stayed together until their split in December 1983, and during that period Ball issued his lone solo album, In Strict Tempo. After the duo dissolved he turned to production and soundtrack assignments, later forming the Grid with Richard Norris.
