Biography
An avid devotee of the six-string, Dave Beegle called Colorado home. There he performed with Fourth Estate, The Beegle-Olson-Quist Trio, Blinddog Smokin', and Artifact Symphony before launching his own solo path. Session work also kept him busy, as he lent his skills to an array of recordings by other musicians. Beyond his reputation as a virtuoso, he composed, produced, and taught music. The solo release A Year Closer reached listeners in 1999. Three years afterward came Beyond the Desert, credited to The Dave Beegle Acoustic Band and colored by world-beat textures. Bassist Mike Olson, drummer Matt Henderson, percussionist Erik Meyer, and guitarist Aaron Lee all took part.
