Biography
Originating from Bloomington, Indiana, Dave Fischoff launched his solo career in 1994. Secretly Canadian issued his cassette Untitled in 1996, then released the full-length CD Winston Park in June 1998, the same year Fischoff toured throughout the United States and the Netherlands. His second studio album, The Ox & the Rainbow, appeared in early 2001. Five years passed before another release after he relocated to Chicago and took a librarian post at the Chicago Public Library. Fischoff simultaneously began working with electronic and hip-hop beats, shaping the hypnotic new sound that defined his long-awaited 2006 album The Crawl.
