Biography
David Condos, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, spent roughly a decade drumming in multiple bands before switching to guitar and launching a solo career in the early 2000s. An interest in creating original songs had stayed with him since age ten. After performing live for about a year, he connected with producer Tom Laune, who learned of the musician through Condos’s parents, fellow churchgoers. Condos delivered a self-made demo of “I Should Be Lost Without You,” which prompted Laune to bring him into the studio to lay down the songs that became Smoking City, an album issued independently in 2006.
