Biography
Hailing from Brighton in the United Kingdom, Dead Swans fuse the unyielding momentum of East coast hardcore with a jagged, dissonant metalcore sensibility. The outfit formed in 2006 and quickly embarked on a steep upward path. Their 2008 EP Southern Blue, issued through 30 Days of Night, drew widespread attention when Kerrang! nominated the group for Best British Newcomer. In 2009 Dead Swans joined Bridge Nine and unveiled their first full-length album, Sleep Walkers, that August.
