Biography
Deanna Devore, a singer and songwriter, first entered the world in Toronto, Ontario, and later relocated to Chicago. Teaming up with producer Bjorn Thorsrud, whose credits include Smashing Pumpkins and Dandy Warhols, she created and independently issued a seven-track EP under her own name in 2007, performing every instrument herself with the exception of drums, which were supplied by Matt Walker and Ed Breckenfeld. After the EP appeared, she assembled a backing group that included Dan Moulder on keyboards, Jody Miller on bass, and Shawn Rios on drums to support her appearances throughout the Chicago area.
