Deemic

In 2019, rapper and singer Deemic inked a deal with Cash Money Records, introducing himself to the public that year through the upbeat single "Late Night."

Born DeMichael Staes in New Orleans, Deemic lent his voice to choirs during his early years there. His early influences included hometown figures Juvenile and Lil Wayne, plus John Legend, prompting him to pen and record his own songs. While pursuing college studies as a late teen, he drew listeners to his SoundCloud profile. The release of "Homicide" broadened his reach via numerous outlets, securing him a Cash Money contract. His debut offering on the label, the Sinista on da Traxxx-produced "Late Night," arrived officially in November 2019.
