Biography
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Irma Orm crafts expansive, atmospheric ambient dream pop as Demen. Her debut full-length Nektyr surfaced on Kranky in 2017, summoning the shadowy recesses of 4AD and Projekt releases from the 1980s and 1990s. The imprint recounts receiving an unsolicited batch of tracks from the musician that proved immediately magnetic. Several years of measured advancement culminated in the album's completion during 2016, with its release arriving the year after.
