Biography
A native of Dallas who became a fixture on the Austin scene, he shared co-lead guitar duties in the Cobras alongside Stevie Vaughan before aligning with Angela Strehli, a period that yielded two solo LPs along with his contributions to Big Guitars from Texas and sessions alongside Lou Ann Barton. More inventive and adventurous than typical textbook-blues players, he co-wrote "Baboom/Mama Said" for the Vaughan Brothers' Family Style and handled guitar and piano duties on the road with Jimmie Vaughan after Strange Pleasure.
