Though their footprint on the global stage amounted to little more than a footnote, Depresy ranked among Slovakia’s foremost heavy metal acts. Before fading out quietly in the opening years of the 2000s, the band delivered four capable gothic death metal albums: ...And Then Came the Tears of Christ in 1995, A Grand Magnificence in 1998, Sightings the following year, and Psychomantium Phenomenon in 2003.
