Biography
König Boris, frontman of the German hip-hop act Fettes Brot, created Der König Tanzt (The King Dances) to pursue solo work. Boris Lauterbach entered the world on June 18, 1974, in Hamburg and co-founded the band there in 1992 with Doktor Renz, Schiffmeister, Mighty, and Tobi Tobsen. After the outfit entered hiatus in 2010 following its sixth studio album, he began the Der König Tanzt project, whose self-titled first album appeared in 2012 and reached number 17 on the German charts.
