PlayBiography
Born in Russia, Der Russe makes his home in Germany, where he delivers rhymes in the local tongue. Political themes dominate his confrontational and forceful verses, which firmly back Russian positions. Partnerships with the polarizing German MCs Sido and Bushido mark his career, while Sido distributed copies of the independently issued CD-R Chiller Instinkt on the road in 2014. Universal inked a deal with the artist in 2016, leading to the issuance of the track "Bong Song" alongside his first official full-length release, Greatest Hits.
