Biography
Native to Columbus, Georgia, R&B vocalist Devin Johnson began sharpening his abilities in church at an early age, where singing prompted him to master several instruments such as bass guitar, drums, and piano. His run on the fifth season of American Idol in 2005 concluded before he could progress past the Hollywood round, yet Universal Motown extended a recording contract soon afterward. A few years later, while studying at Berklee College of Music, he turned his attention to crafting a debut album.
