Biography
Formed in the late '90s amid Sweden's thriving punk and garage rock circles, Diamond Dogs assembled a sizable roster that included Anders Lindstrom on guitar, Stefan Björk on bass, Stevie Klasson on guitar, Sulo Karlsson handling vocals, Henrik Widen on piano and keyboards, Jesper Karlsson on drums, and Matthias Helberg on harp. The group quickly took to the stage for countless performances, building a dedicated following inside the nation's alternative and punk communities. Their initial outings on the Feedback Boogie imprint—the EPs Among the Non-Believers and Shortplayer—further cemented their standing across Sweden and adjacent northern European territories. Maintaining their combustible brand of rock & roll, the band issued its debut long-player, As Your Greens Turn Burn, in 2000. Two years afterward, Too Much Is Always Better Than Enough reached stores as the second album, after which Diamond Dogs embarked on a lengthy European tour.
