Diestra

Formed in Atlanta during the mid-1990s, the Latin rock group Diestra initially concentrated on hard rock before evolving under the direction of brothers Ricardo and Luis Bonilla. Moving into alternative pop/rock and electronica, they blended Latin rhythms with modern sonic textures to craft both infectious dance tracks and introspective acoustic pieces. Following their EP Ultrasonido, the band issued Sin Dirección in 2001.
