Biography
Da5id Din channels his work through the DIN_FIV project while regularly contributing to the Boston industrial duo Informatik. Raised in a musical household, he started composing songs and handling computers during high school. Recording sessions began for him in 1990, and three years later he connected with Informatik’s Matthew Crofoot. Their rapport produced the 1995 album Direct Memory Access, issued by Sinless Records. Not long afterward Din launched DIN_FIV—its name taken from the MIDI cable connector—as a solo outlet. The first release arrived as the 1996 Metropolis LP Infinity, followed in 1998 by Escape to Reality.
