Biography
Dion Knibb began performing ska at age 12 alongside his father Lloyd, the Skatalites’ drummer. That early experience steered him toward a ska career of his own, though he opted to front groups as lead vocalist rather than following his father behind the drum kit. He later toured with the Skatalites, the Fab Five, and Unique Vision before joining the Agitators, a Boston-based group assembled by former members of Steady Earnest. After developing a following across the Northeast, the Agitators issued their debut album, Driving Me Mad, in 1998.
