Biography
Greg Reeves, a multi-instrumentalist, anchors the Dipstick project and wrote as well as produced every piece of music for its 2000 album Transistor Rodeo. His contributions on that recording extend across bass, synthesizer, sampler, guitar, percussion, turntable, guitarron, and vice grips, while four additional players supplied supplementary textures. The resulting all-instrumental set fuses retro rock sounds, modern ambient music, cheesy mid-20th century easy listening-type signatures, quality soundtrack-type composition, and further elements into a witty and often catchy whole.
