Biography
Recognized as a British performer, Dirk Bogarde delivered memorable performances in films such as The Servant from 1963, Darling released in 1965, The Damned in 1969, Death in Venice during 1971, and The Night Porter from 1973. After stepping away from acting in 1978, he pursued a literary career, authoring multiple novels along with volumes of personal recollections. His return to the cinematic screen occurred in 1990.
