Biography
Michigan's Dirt Road Logic, a roots rock quartet, deliver gritty and passionate Midwest narratives that recall the ragged alt-country of Drive-By Truckers, the wistful Americana of Old 97's, and the bar band sensibilities of early-'70s Rolling Stones. Spring 2005 marked the group's formation around lead vocalist/guitar player Eric Kelly, lead guitarist/vocalist Paul Delamater, drummer Jonathan Britton, and bass player Mark King. True to their name, they embraced constant touring, which helped them amass a loyal audience extending well beyond regional tastes while sharing bills with Shooter Jennings, the Fluoride Program, and John Corbett. Their electrifying 12-song debut Great Lake Heart Ache was captured at Ann Arbor, MI's Big Sky Studios and issued on Embassy Hotel Records in May 2006. The Rock-n-Roll EP followed in 2009 as a seven-track set produced by Al Sutton (Kid Rock).
