Dirty Little Rabbits

Shawn Crahan, recognized primarily as the sixth member of the masked metal collective Slipknot, also fronts the project known as Dirty Little Rabbits. Formation of the group commenced in 2007 when Crahan encountered keyboardist Michael Pfaff during a jam session. Their shared musical rapport prompted the addition of further members, specifically guitarist Ty Fyhrie, bassist Jeff Karnowski, and vocalist Stella Katsoudas. Drawing influences across the alternative rock spectrum, Dirty Little Rabbits fuse elements of gothic intensity, swirling organ textures, and catchy pop hooks. Scheduling tours and studio sessions around Crahan's commitments with Slipknot allowed the release of a pair of EPs—Breeding in 2007 and Simon in 2009—followed by a signing to The End Records. The band's inaugural full-length effort, titled Dirty Little Rabbits, appeared via The End in 2010. Subsequent to completing the album's recording, Ty Fyhrie departed, with guitarist Ryan Martin stepping in as his replacement.
